Jacques Fath 

Jacques Fath (born in Maison-Lafitte, Sept 6, 1912 – Paris, Nov 13, 1954) was a designer-stylist who is considered one of the three big names in fashion. pre-war haute couture. The other two being Christian Dior and Pierre Balmain.

Fath presented his first collection in 1937. His haute-couture house had nearly 600 employees in the early 1950s. And like his couture, his Iris Gris perfumes (1968) , Green Water (1947, reformulated and relaunched in 1993), or even Canasta are exported all over the world and particularly to Hollywood.
