The Original Violette de Toulouse was launched in 1936, a creation signed by Henri Berdoues, the perfumer of the house. The eau de parfum is presented in a relatively refined bottle, presenting a purple juice in transparency. The neck of the bottle is capped with a violet flower.

The olfactory composition of the perfume contains violet leaf absolute, an essence obtained from the leaves, which gives off a fresh and herbaceous, slightly flowery scent. This essence is the emblematic signature of the perfume. As a top note, the fragrance also includes Iris flower, jasmine, and raspberry. The heart note offers a more floral bouquet, of heliotrope and violet leaves. The base note, meanwhile, is more tenacious thanks to musks and the aroma of Tonka bean, which gives the Originale Violette de Toulouse a warm and sweet trail.
