CREATION
Le Jardin de Monsieur Li eau de toilette evokes a Chinese garden between real and imaginary. A place of meditation where strolling and thinking merge. Perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena tells the story of a perfume dotted with flowers and water, trees and rocks.
OLFACTORY NOTES
Floral and vegetal, Le Jardin de Monsieur Li eau de toilette juxtaposes in a harmonious accord, delicate sambac jasmine, tangy kumquat and dazzling bergamot.
THE OBJECT
Designed by Fred Rawyler, the bottle is inspired by the lines of the lanterns of yesteryear's cars. The glass of the bottle comes alive with a delicate yellow gradient, a nod to the imperial color in Chinese tradition. Painted by the artist Li Xin, a river of ink in a thousand anthracite shades adorns the case.
ETHICS
The bottle is filled using the 200 ml eau de toilette refill. A responsible gesture, inseparable from an object created to last.
THE COLLECTION OF PARFUMS-JARDINS
The Parfums-Jardins collection marks the meeting between the soul of a place, the inspiration of the perfumer and the theme that the house of Hermès chooses each year to illuminate its creation. An olfactory walk to share for every moment, for a desire for freshness, daydreaming and escape. “I remembered the smell of ponds, the smell of jasmine, the smell of wet stones, the smell of plum trees, kumquats and giant bamboos. Everything was there, and even, in their pond, carp which were taking the time to become a hundred years old. » Jean-Claude Ellena
The Garden of Monsieur Li tells the story of a Chinese garden between real and imaginary. A place of meditation where strolling and thinking are sisters, where each step frees the imagination.
