It was in 1978 that Jean -Charles Brosseau, already known in the field of fashion for his hats and accessories, launched, without really believing it, his first unisex perfume BrossEau in his attractive boutique on Place des Victoires. This citrus eau de toilette caught the attention not only of consumers but also of perfumery professionals. The latter encouraged him to develop a feminine perfume, and it was at Roure that he worked on Ombre Rose. The launch took place in New York in 1981 in the essential and luxurious Bergdorf Goodman store and the success was immediate. It immediately spread to all the selective stores in the United States. Ombre Rose is a delicate powdery fragrance.
Ombre Rose is a simple, refined and timeless fragrance that goes through time without ever going out of fashion. 2 generations have already adopted it for 30 years.
His initial notes sweet and floral, with iris, lily of the valley, ylang-ylang and honey, are followed by the suave warmth of peach, sandalwood and musk. At the first spray of this powdery and sensual formula, we are immediately seduced by its subtle and original presence.
