Although the immortal has always been a leitmotif of the compositions of PARFUM D'EMPIRE, for years Marc-Antoine Corticchiato dreamed of making it the fiery heart of a perfume.
Today, this dream lives on in a creation that could only have one name: IMMORTELLE CORSE.
The fragrance begins with a trio of fire-colored notes - saffron, apricot and lemon - reminiscent of the sunny glow of the immortelle flower. An indispensable velvety prelude that introduces the ingredient.
For the immortal is revealed only in the heart. It is a natural ingredient that is one of the strongest in the perfume palette and whose wealth is fully expressed over the hours
Aromas of spices, liqueurs, wood and fruits. In contrast, the salty and earthy notes of oak moss are reminiscent of the bottom of the scrub where the flower IMMORTELLE flowers. The quintessence of a sun-lit country.

THE WORD OF MARC-ANTOINE CORTICCHIATO
The immortal fascinates me. It invades my corner of the Corsican Macchia, where I spend a lot of time. I wanted it to bloom at the summer solstice when it's all full of sunshine.
It is the chef's friend who unknowingly gave me the key to this composition: arranging ingredients according to color.
It still works, he told me. When I developed my saffron-apricot-lemon-chord, I knew that I had the beginning of my story.
Since I wanted to be velvety, I opted for a natural juicy apricot, which also brings a soft orange light. It's one of my shortest formulas. I wanted a crash, a matter of course, and still remain elegant.
