Created by perfumer Céline Ellena, Figuier Noir is a fragrance dedicated to the heart of men, a reassuring and elegant olfactory combination that is also strikingly contradictory. Figuier Noir is a synergy of saps to reach the unattainable star, a combination of woods to underscore sincerity, an intertwining of roots to anchor the signature, exquisite spices, and black fig pulp to create the sillage.

The bottle was redesigned by the artist Enrico Donati, a surrealist painter and sculptor who was also married to the last direct descendant of the Houbigant family.
The iconic silhouette was retained for the diffuser design, then reinterpreted on a more generous scale. A tribute to the timeless appeal of this form, now expressed with elegance and presence, it integrates harmoniously into any space. The diffusers are crafted from finely sculpted glass and lacquered white for a ceramic-like finish, adorned with an elegant embossed gold detail that enhances its iconic silhouette. Designed to elevate any interior, it transforms the atmosphere into a refined and immersive sensory experience.

Each diffuser is presented full in its box with a box of six natural rattan fiber reeds, ensuring a continuous and sophisticated fragrance diffusion. The case containing the diffuser is much more than simple packaging: it is a true work of art, a testament to history and craftsmanship. Designed as a bespoke presentation box, it is adorned with an exclusive Toile de Jouy motif, created especially by Houbigant to celebrate this historic anniversary. This unique pattern is inspired by a meticulous selection of archival illustrations: timeless scenes, symbols, and ornaments that evoke the House's rich past.

Every detail is a visual tribute to Houbigant's enduring heritage. Blending the elegance of 18th- and 19th-century French decorative arts with a refined, modern sensibility, this design transforms the case into a collector's item—a celebration of tradition, reinvented for today.
